RE-OPENING OF ADMISSION PORTAL AND PHYSICAL SCREENING SCHEDULE

We are pleased to inform all candidates seeking admission into Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) that, following the recent extension of the admission exercise for public universities by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the university has approved the reopening of its portal for physical screening. This initiative is aimed at accommodating candidates who have not yet completed their admission procedures.

As part of this reopening, candidates will have the opportunity to change their course choices during the screening period. However, please note that this change of course is not applicable to specific programs due to their capacity limits. The courses excluded from the change option are: Medicine (MBBS), Nursing, Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Computer and Communications Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Computer Science.

The physical screening for all eligible candidates will take place from 3rd to 10th November 2025 at the NCC Building Gubi Campus of the University along NIngi-Kano, Bauchi.
