The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has changed the date for the 2025 Mock UTME. The exam was first set for Saturday, 5 April 2025. Now, it will take place on Thursday, 10 April 2025.

JAMB said the change will help them prepare better for the exam. They want to make sure everything is ready for a smooth process.

JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, explained that the new date will help them complete all arrangements. They also plan to add new ideas to improve the mock exam.

“This change will allow us to introduce better innovations and make this exam one of the best,” the statement said.

JAMB also mentioned that they increased the number of exam centres for 2025. This was another reason for shifting the date.

The main UTME will still begin on 25 April 2025, as planned.

The mock test is a practice exam for candidates. It helps them get used to the real UTME before the main exam.

The new date gives JAMB more time to make sure everything goes well.
