The Nigerian Federal Government has declared Friday, June 6 and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha.
The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and abroad and encouraged them to show sacrifice and faith, like Prophet Ibrahim. He also asked everyone to pray for peace and progress in Nigeria.
He said the government is working on reforms to improve the country and urged all Nigerians to support the government’s efforts.
