JAMB Announces Deadline for 2025 Admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the deadline for the 2025/2026 admission exercise.

According to JAMB, all tertiary institutions in Nigeria must conclude their admission processes before the end of December 2025, depending on the type of institution.

This announcement was made during the 2025 JAMB Policy Meeting held in Abuja, where admission timelines and rules for the new academic session were discussed in detail.

Here’s a breakdown of the official deadlines for the 2025/2026 academic session:

Public Universities: October 2025
Private Universities: November 2025
Polytechnics and Colleges of Education: December 2025

The Minister stressed that any school that offers admission beyond these dates will face strict sanctions, as the government is determined to enforce order and fairness in the admission process.
