JAMB: Over 1.5m candidates score less than 200 in 2025 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the full statistics for the 2025 UTME results.

The report shows how Nigerian students performed in the exam across the country.

A total of 1,955,069 candidates sat for the 2025 UTME.

Out of these, over 1.5 million candidates scored less than 200.

JAMB said that 4,756 candidates scored above 320.

Also, 7,658 candidates scored between 300 and 319.

JAMB added that 40,247 underage candidates were allowed to take the exam.

These candidates were given a chance to show their exceptional talent.

Out of them, only 467 candidates (1.16%) scored high enough to be considered exceptional.

Their results for the next three stages are still being processed.
