What is NERD Clearance?

NERD Clearance is a national digital verification process of academic outputs including certificates, transcripts, project reports, theses, and dissertations. Once verified and uploaded, these records become permanently logged in the National Database and can be instantly authenticated with unique National Credential Numbers (NCN).

Step-by-Step Guide for Students

1. Register or log in to the NERD portal at https://ned.gov.ng/login.
2. Verify your personal and institutional details on your dashboard.
3. Upload your academic project/thesis by selecting the appropriate submission type and providing required details including certification pages.
4. Process your NERD Clearance and print your clearance slip.
